1. Foreign Language Advisor (Spanish) Intelligence Bureau 

The Intelligence Bureau, under the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), central government departments, offers the job of Spanish language advisor.

The Intelligence Bureau is India’s domestic internal security and counter-intelligence agency. It was founded in 1887 as Central Special Branch. The IB is considered to be the oldest such organization in the world.

IB is headquartered in Delhi, and the recruitment for the post of foreign language advisor is stationed for Delhi only. 

The job is offered on a deputation basis. The selection procedure involves an offline application submission followed by a walk-in-interview

The post requires a minimum of one to two years of work experience

The average salary for a senior foreign language advisor at IB is around INR 1,31,100 to 2,16,600 per month.

2. Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan Spanish Teacher

So, for those of you who don’t know what Kendriya Vidyalayas are, a KV is a central government-managed school. 

And, the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) is a system of government schools in India,  instituted under the aegis of the Ministry of Education, GOI, run and managed by the central government. 

So, the difference between a regular government school and a KV is the management structure. KVs are the central government-run schools. While regular government schools are managed by state governments.

As of 2021, there are a total of 1,248 KVs in India, and three abroad in Tehran, Kathmandu, and Moscow

So, the Kvs offer Spanish, German, French, and Mandarin as the third language in their curriculum. You can apply for a Spanish teacher job at KVS.

The average salary of a Kendriya Vidyalaya teacher is around INR 5 lac per annum. 

3. Spanish Professor, Assitant Professor, Associate Professor, Visiting Faculty

So, while the KVS offers Spanish teacher jobs, there are many governments/public universities in India which recruit Spanish language professors.
