1. Consultants in the IP Division:

Last Date to apply: 5 April 2021

Eligibility criteria: 

  • One must be an Indian national.
  • A retired officer of rank (US/DS level) from any ministry of government or retired. officer of the same rank from the Ministry of External Affairs.
  • Graduate or postgraduate.
  • Proficient in usage of the computer.
  • Experience in handling project implementation, development partnership administration, international cooperation, budget-related matters, and multilateral grouping.

Age: Not more than 63

Application Procedure: A form for the eligible candidates is attached in the official pdf. You can fill the form and further send it.

Importantly, the form must be in an envelope on which ‘Application for the post of consultant in the IP Division of the Ministry of External Affairs’ must be clearly mentioned.

About: The consultant is required to perform a wide variety. Ranging from implementation, coordination, assisting, meetings, and various other responsibilities as mentioned by his/her head.

2. Yoga Teacher:

Although, this is the job profile in which people will be rarely interested. I am mentioning it at the top because you can apply for it till 22 March 2021.

Eligibility criteria: 

  • Degree/ certificate/ diploma in yoga from a recognized university. 
  • Experience in teaching and operating at workshops.
  • Communication skills.

Age:  25- 50 years 

Application Procedure: You can send an email to the welfare minister. 

About: As a yoga teacher, you will teach yoga at the Ministry of External Affairs office and residential areas. The working hours will be around 2 hours. Along with this, you must be working for the workshops.

3. Section Officer: 

Eligibility criteria: 

  • Graduate from a recognized university.
  • The aspirant must know the general financial rules, a delegation of financial power rules, accounting rules, CPWD accounts code, and other finance-related work as handed over by the Ministry of External Affairs.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.

Application Procedure: You need to fill a form and send it to the mentioned address in the official pdf of the advertisement. The form is attached therein.

About: This is one of the essential positions to be held. As it requires the section officer to formulate accounts budget, record, evaluate, analyze and handle the finance-related aspects of the Ministry of External Affairs.

  • A post-graduate in Law or LLM.

About: The consultants in the L&T division has various set of responsibilities. 

  • Supervisor of scanning of treaties/MoUs.
  • Attending hearing in various cases in which Ministry is a party. 
  • Development of a system for receiving and acting as a depository of all such treaties.
  • Development of computerized registry for agreements by Government of India with the foreign ministers.
  • Collect data from the various ministry of government and individuals posted abroad.
  • Research on topics assigned by the government.
